  abstract                 = { Designing, implementing and testing novel systems for the elderly requires researchers from a wide range of research areas to cooperate and communicate. It is especially important that medical experts and system designers reach an agreement on a user definition, which is understood by all participants. In system design, the Persona method has proven its worth as a tool to communicate and clarify abstract user descriptions and their goals.
